Inktober 5

I really like the look of twisted trees, and take lots of pictures them when I'm out hiking or relaxing at the beach. Here's a sketch of one such picture taken a little while back of a fallen tree branch on the North Shore of Oahu.

Mainly done with my current favorite pen, a Japanese Uni-ball Signo 0.28, with some help from the Pentel brush pen and 0.5 Signo.

Hiking

This weekend I hiked up to Mission Point, the first hike I've been on in a while. It was nice and short, though I'll cop to feeling it in my legs this morning. Saw some burnt trees and some flowers in bloom. On the way down, some guy told us to watch out for "a coyote with snakes," but we had no such luck.

Purple flower (I know, I'm like the flower expert or something)

Burnt trees, valley, and I think the San Gabriels

more flowery goodness

Good times hiking, and kind of caught up with some friends. I've got some sketches to post, too, but I'll wait to fight with photoshop later. Sleep first.
